From Formula 1 rights to international production
More than a decade of specialist broadcasting, technical growth and production at major European racetracks.
Kreator F1 launches
GP1 began broadcasting in February 2011 under the name Kreator F1 after purchasing Formula 1 media rights. The channel first launched on MAXtv, Croatian Telecom’s television platform, and soon expanded to all major cable and IPTV networks in Croatia.
Beyond Formula 1
Originally conceived as an exclusive Formula 1 channel, the network added MotoGP, the Volvo Ocean Race and many other premium sports properties.
Kreator TV and wider sports production
The company became Kreator TV in 2013 and expanded its focus to sport in general. Thousands of live events followed, including Formula 1 and MotoGP, on-site production of the Second Croatian Football League in 2015, the First Croatian Futsal League, and demanding EBEL and KHL Medveščak ice-hockey broadcasts.
A dedicated motorsport focus
The network returned to a strictly motorsport-focused strategy, combining specialist editorial experience with growing technical production capacity.
International track production
GP1 delivered its first complex racetrack broadcasts and formed partnerships with NASCAR Whelen Euro Series and ESET Cup Series. Productions expanded to Red Bull Ring, Circuit Ricardo Tormo Valencia, Brands Hatch, Hungaroring, Vallelunga, Slovakia Ring, Automotodrom Brno, Autodrom Most, Automotodrom Grobnik and many other circuits.
A complete international media platform
GP1 combines motorsport television channels in Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, F1 and motorsport portals with millions of visits, and its own fleet of television production units.
